Motorcyclist Dies in Smyrna Car Accident

On July 21, a motorcyclist died in Smyrna, Georgia, after an accident involving a pick-up truck. Smyrna police said the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on the East-West Connector when he collided with a truck making a left turn onto Highlands Ridge Road. The motorcyclist crashed into the right side of the truck.
The victim was taken to Emory-Adventist Hospital and died shortly after. The name of the victim is not being released, pending notification of family members. The incident is still under investigation.
