Single Engine Plane Crash In Florida Kills Two
A small plane recently crashed into a wooded area in Volusia County in Florida. The fixed-wing single engine plane went down at sunset on the evening of February 17, about 150 yards away from the beach. The passengers, a flight instructor and a student, are presumed dead.
While crashes are not common, small planes can prove extremely dangerous in the event of factors like inclement weather, user error or equipment malfunction. Even experienced pilots, like the flight instructor in the Florida crash, can run into life-threatening trouble. Accidents involving small aircrafts such as this often result in a great deal of property damage, and have the potential to cause catastrophic injury to passengers or even tragic deaths.
