Delta Airplane Slides Off Taxiway At Hartsfield-Jackson
A Delta airplane ran off a taxiway early this morning at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The plane was undergoing maintenance when it slid off the end of a taxiway into an embankment, according to the AJC.
Fortunately, the airplane was undergoing maintenance and only two mechanics were on board. Neither mechanic was injured. Things could have been much worse, as a Delta spokesman reported that the plane in question sustained “significant damage” during this incident.
