The Best Lawyers in America, one of the legal industry’s oldest peer-review publications, recognizes lawyers in 146 practice areas. For almost 40 years, the Best Lawyers publication has helped individuals who need legal services find the most qualified lawyers to help them with their cases.
In order to be selected, a lawyer must be first nominated by a peer; in fact, the list of lawyers selected for the 2020 publication was based on over 8.3 million submissions. 62,000 lawyers, or approximately 5% of lawyers in private practice in the United States, ultimately made this prestigious list.
