On September 13, a small experimental aircraft crashed in Forsyth County. The plane went down in a residential area near Lake Lanier around 7:45 p.m., according to Jason Shivers, Division Chief of the Forsyth County Fire Department. On Monday night, authorities reported two men, a woman, a young girl and a young boy, were killed in a plane crash near Waco, Texas. The pilot was from Texas and the other four on board were from the metro Atlanta area. All five individuals involved in the crash have the same last name.
