Utility worker injured in Alpharetta

A worker in Alpharetta was taken to the hospital for injuries that resulted from a garbage truck towing a trailer striking his utility truck.  The worker was displaced 20 feet from the bucketattached to the utility truck. The utility worker is expected to make a full recovery.

The driver of the garbage truck called police the next day to report that he was involved, but did not realize he hit anything until he noticed the damage. The accident took place at the intersection of Haynes Bridge Road and Old Milton Parkway.

The utility worker was taken to a hospital for treatment of broken bones and is expected to recover.
