Two Georgia Tech Students Killed, One Seriously Injured from Auto Accident

Georgia officials reported a fatal car accident in Pickens County on Friday. Three individuals in their early twenties were traveling in a BMW when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which hit an embankment, then overturned.

One of the passengers died at the scene, and another died Monday evening. The driver has sustained serious injuries.

The accident is still under investigation, but all three were wearing seat belts and alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
