Tractor Trailer Driver Killed in Crash on Scenic Highway
A tractor trailer driver died when his rig crashed into a carry-out on Scenic Highway, the AJCreports. According to Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Edwin Ritter, the truck was heading northbound on Scenic Highway near Essex Drive when it crossed the southbound lanes and slammed into a strip mall.
It remains unknown whether or not the driver suffered from a medical condition that could have caused him to lose control of the vehicle, or if his fatal injuries were a result of the accident. The accident is still under investigation.
