State Revokes Nursing Home’s License
The Department of Public Welfare recently revoked the operating license for the Quadrangle Assisted Living Community in Haverford, Pennsylvania
The revocation of the nursing home license is the result of abuse caught on video by the family of a 78-year-old female dementia patient. The family made previous complaints to the nursing home management, but received no response. A hidden camera was then set up in the 78-year-old’s room by her family. The camera captured nursing home employees violently shaking, unnecessarily stripping, kicking and punching the elderly woman.
