Pope & Howard Co-Founder Receives Honor Awarded to Georgia’s Top Attorneys
ATLANTA, GA— Atlanta trial lawyer Marc Howard, co-founder of the Pope & Howard Law Firm, has been recognized as one of Georgia Trend Magazine’s Legal Elite for 2013. Howard was also awarded this distinction in 2009 and again in 2010.

The 11th annual publication of Georgia Trend magazine encompasses “Legal Elite” from 20 practice areas, including Appellate Law, Bankruptcy/Creditors’ Rights, Business Law, Personal Injury, Environmental Law, Family Law, and Real Estate Law. Howard and his partner, Geoff Pope, specialize in personal injury law, including trucking accidents, plane crashes, car wrecks, work site accidents and other cases where negligence resulted in catastrophic injury or wrongful death.
Georgia Trend Magazine’s “Legal Elite” are chosen by a jury of their peers; ballots are mailed to a random sampling of several thousand attorneys who are members of the State Bar of Georgia, and whose practice areas coincide with those featured in this year’s publication.
“I’m especially honored since I know this distinction comes from my fellow Georgia attorneys,” Howard added.
Howard has strong ties to the local community, serving on the Executive Committee and as an officer of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, a professional organization for trial attorneys who represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases.
