ATLANTA, GA— (October 15, 2013) Atlanta-based trial lawyer Mark Howard has been admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, which serves 23 counties and has locations in Gainesville, Panama City, Pensacola and Tallahassee, Florida. This induction allows Howard to both file cases and represent clients in the federal courts of Northern Florida, where cases typically involve serious damages arising from disputes between citizens or companies who reside in different states.
“Because Florida is a high-traffic state, and many companies with branches in the area are actually incorporated in other states, it is particularly helpful to retain an attorney who has the ability to file cases in federal court,” Howard said.
Howard pursued the induction into Northern District of Florida for a specific case he is working on in the area.
Howard, who was named a 2012 Georgia Super Lawyer and a “Legal Elite” attorney in Georgia Trend Magazine, received his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1993. In the same year, he was admitted to both the Georgia and Virginia Bars.
