Over One Million Ford Pickup Trucks Recalled

Ford Motor Co. recently announced they are conducting a recall of 1.1 million pickup trucks.  The recall is due to unstable straps that are supposed to secure gas tanks.  The defective straps have led to eight fires.  Sadly, one individual experienced first and second degree burns as a result of the faulty part on a Ford pickup truck.

Individuals currently driving a Ford pickup truck, which may have defective straps, are encouraged to contact their local dealerships to remedy the situation.

The attorneys at Pope & Howard P.C. have obtained fair settlements for the victims or families who have suffered from the severe injuries of defective products. Pope & Howard P.C.’s expert team of lawyers has handled a wide array of product liability cases involving:

  • Automobiles (airbags, seatbelts, tires, brakes)
  • Manholes or road obstructions
  • Packaging of bottle water
  • Swimming Pools
  • Construction equipment
  • Aviation products
  • Numerous other products

Once Pope & Howard P.C. has received a complaint, the experienced team begins a comprehensive investigation of the injury and product, and pursues the responsible party, whether it is the manufacturer, a manufacturer of parts, or the vendor of a product.

If you or someone you know has been injured or killed due to what you believe to be a defective product, please contact Pope & Howard, P.C. at 404-885-9999 for an initial free consultation. You can also visit our website, popehoward.com, for more information.
