Motorcyclist Dies in Tragic Newton County Accident

A 39-year-old man was killed on November 8, 2010 when his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck that made an illegal turn in front of him. The crash took place on Stone Road near Newton County’s recycling center at around 4:40 p.m.

A 2005 Dodge Ram tried to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Terrance Michael Collins of Oxford, Ga., was ejected from his motorcycle and killed. The truck’s driver, 68-year-old Donald P. Kahle, suffered no injuries.
