A 7-year-old boy was injured and taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in DeKalb County. The boy’s identity and condition have not been released at this time.
Officials stated the boy was walking across the street with his dad and a sibling when he stepped into traffic. There is not a crosswalk or crossing signal in the area where the pedestrian accident occurred.
Investigators have not indicated if charges will be filed against the driver.
