Trial lawyer Geoff Pope, co-founder of Atlanta’s Pope & Howard, P.C. Law Firm, will present a speech entitled “The Role of the Civil Justice System in our Free Market Economy” at the January 2014 Eggonomics Speaker Series, a monthly series held at the All Saints’ Episcopal Church, a parish in the diocese of Atlanta, Georgia.
During this event, which is open to the public, Geoff Pope will describe the role that the United States justice system plays in a free market economy. Using examples and studies, he will discuss how our justice system works to reward quality products, while ensuring that the manufacturers of faulty or inferior products and punished.
The Eggonomics Speaker series, a monthly breakfast lecture series that allows both parishioners and invited guests alike to share lessons learned in the professional sphere, is an open forum where members of the congregation can discuss the role that personal faith plays in the workplace.

Geoff Pope, an active member of the Atlanta community, has served as an adjunct professor of litigation at Emory University Law School, and is regularly asked to speak on various topics at Continuing Education seminars for lawyers in Georgia.
