This October, Geoff Pope, co-founder of Pope & Howard, P.C., was extended an invitation to join the Melvin M. Belli Society. This prestigious, international group of trial lawyers hosts relevant and practical seminars to help members improve their court room skills.

Pope responded to the honor by saying, “I’m excited to be a part of the The Belli Society, and look forward to taking part in the impactful seminars and other educations tools that members enjoy.”

The Belli Society remains dedicated to upholding the legal legacy of trial lawyer and founder,Melvin M. Belli. Known as the Father of Demonstrative Evidence for his “pioneering work in illustrating in court the nature of his clients’ injuries”, he also worked with several high profile clients throughout his career including Jack Ruby, who was on trial of murdering Lee Harvey Oswald, the convicted assassin of President John F. Kennedy.

Pope, who served as Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA) President in 2011, has been a member of the Georgia Bar since 1993, when he earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law.
