Fatal Hit-and-Run Suspect Released on Bond
The man charged with vehicular homicide in the hit-and-run death of a Fulton County teacher last weekend has been released on bond. Jamonta Leon Smith, 20, allegedly struck and killed Latasha Patrice Worthy in Union City on Sunday morning as she exited a car.
Investigators are still looking into the incident, which occurred on South Fulton Parkway.
