Fatal Accident Shuts Down Part of I-75 in Bartow County
One man was killed and another was injured in a fiery accident that occurred on I-75 near Cartersville Sunday afternoon. A portion of the interstate was closed for almost 10 hours while the fire burned itself out, according to the AJC.
On Sunday, the driver of a pickup truck apparently crossed the median of the road, crashing headlong into a tractor trailer that was headed south. The driver of the pickup truck, a Kennesaw man, was killed. The driver of the tractor trailer, a man from Indiana, suffered serious burns.
